Baladi offers authentic home-made Lebanese fare inspired by a ‘mother’s
kitchen’. The restaurant’s name is taken from the widely loved Arabic
song Helwa Ya Baladi (Beautiful is My Country). Most of the traditional
preserves, olive oil, zaatar and other essentials are imported from
Lebanon. Not only does the food stay true to its roots, the décor
includes antique chairs imported from a renowned café in Lebanon and the
walls are dotted with paintings of the country’s green landscape.
